Linda was one of many brothers and sisters and seemed shy growing up, always cooperative but never in the forefront but as she matured she began showing great potential for Christian service. In the 1960’s she became one of the early Youth Field Workers and directly as a result of this program became part of the first Summer Christian Service Corps team.
After meeting and marrying her husband they helped conceive and implement for a home in which special people would be welcomed. Slowly, despite struggles and setbacks, the idea became reality.
Linda put others first, did without necessities, and took from her own to give to others. Even life threatening health problems have not her determination to help those who cannot help themselves. Her community, church, and denomination have all benefited from her caring heart.
