Wanted...

I am looking for examples of SDB Women DOING ministry! I know we have someone that makes hats for babies, a church that does prayer quilts, and one that does prayer shawls. I want to know about groups and/or individual women of ALL ages ministering. I'm sure you know someone! Please send me an email with the person's name, contact information, and what ministry they are doing. This is to help me put together the Women's Banquet program for Conference.
Thank you!

Request from this year's Banquet Committee...

I, chairperson of the SDB Banquet Committee, am looking for women of ALL ages to make Prayer Rags for the favor.

This Prayer Rag should be 16x16 in size.

Crocheted, knitted or even sewn (quilted).

Please edge the crocheted or knitted ones with a softer yarn if need be.

Please let me know how many you plan to make.

You can send them to me to take to conference or bring them to conference yourself. I just need to know how many are done by July 1, 2012!

While you are creating the Prayer Rag please PRAY for the person who will receive it at conference.

Include with the Prayer Rag a note saying that you have been praying for the person and if you care to, include your name. First only is fine.

Thank you and please join with us in praying for the ministries of the Women's Board.
